My friend has an L1B visa. Since 2017, he has been headquartered in Texas. He claims there are restrictions because of his visa, but he still wants to purchase life insurance. Which insurance providers may you recommend?

He would not be able to obtain life insurance if he is not a permanent resident or if he does not have a tax ID. I was unable to comment specifically on that situation because I am unfamiliar with the L1B visa. He can try with CFG if he does have a tax ID. This does not guarantee that he can enter.
I hope this is useful. Best of luck

Our first choice for international nationals is Transamerica. I would start with them even if Iām not sure how they feel about that specific visa.
I think the maximum time one can stay in the US with an L1B visa is 5 years.
During this period your friend should look for permanent residency status. If he gets such a status, now I think he can safely purchase a life insurance policy
