I’m getting ready to take the Life, Health, And Annuities test in VA. I found out online that it may take a month for the license and background check. Is that really true?
I can’t speak for a residential license, but I applied for a non-residential Life license in VA last month and it took almost no time—just around 3 days to a week. I wasn’t worried about a lengthy background check since I had no issues to report. I’d say it likely depends on the number of applications ahead of yours and what might show up in the background check.
I’m studying right now… I know this post was from 4 years ago, but how long did it actually take you? Are you still in this field? What was your monthly income that first year?
I took the test in VA and got my producer number in about 3 days.
It took me about a week and a half.
