Anyone work for American income life (AIL)?

I have read the unfavorable comments online.

However, the supervisor and recruiter I have spoken with so far seem fantastic.

I am curious if anyone has ever held an actual position as an insurance agent with them.

It is all commission.

I am considering preparing for my licence and trying it out while working for them. If it does not work out, I can always leave.

Since the leads are free, I believe it’s an excellent company for training. However, once you’ve finished your training and started earning any cash, I’d recommend leaving and joining a company that lets you purchase your own leads. Let me tell you, I worked for AIL from August 2020 to March 2022. It’s exhilarating. Yes, you can make money there, but it will take a lot more labor. You aren’t paying for your leads, which is why you only receive 50% commission. If you choose a provider that charges you for leads, the percentage ranges from 80% to 90% comp. And they intend to do so much. Additionally, the leads at AIL are completely ignorant that they agreed to be contacted by us, so you

I once considered a commission-based insurance agent role myself and found it both promising and challenging. I spoke with several people who had worked in similar positions, and while the feedback was mixed, many appreciated the potential for high earnings and valued the support from their supervisors and recruiters. If you’re preparing for your license and feel good about the team you’ve met, trying it out could be a valuable experience. Just make sure you’re prepared for the challenges of a commission-only job and have a plan in case it doesn’t work out, as it’s always good to have a backup plan.

I think it’s a great company to get training in since the leads are free but after you’re trained and made some money, I’d get out of there and into a company that allows you to buy your own leads. I worked for AIL from August2020-March 2022 and let me tell you. It’s a rollercoaster. You can make money yes, but you are going to work way harder there. You only get 50% comp and that’s because you aren’t paying for your leads. If you go to a company where you pay for your leads it’s anywhere from 80%-90% comp. And they have so much intention. Also the leads at AIL are so unaware that they signed up to receive calls from us so you will have days where people just tell you to piss off and you make no money. Also AIL is the only company that uses zoom. I know if someone tried to get me on zoom I would not be interested so where I work now it’s just a quick phone call and that’s it. Let me know if you have any questions!
