I keep seeing jobs for Symmetry Financial Group and the like. Are there any of these that are legit and don’t have you selling to your friends and family like Primerica? I’m looking for a second job.
Avoid working for Symmetry Financial Group or their competitor, Family First Life. Also, steer clear of companies like Primerica, American Income Life, Globe Life, and WFG, which are even worse. I recently left Symmetry for a much better company, despite having success there, because of their terrible lead system and deceptively low commissions on most products. While they have a great culture, if you’re serious about making a profit in this industry, it’s best to stay away.
Are you looking for Captive or independent as an agent?
Either. Just beginning!
Most are wfh now. selling friends and family shouldn’t be hard to weed out from.
It’s either buy leads or get your own (friends/family/referrals). That’s how this industry works.
I don’t know any wfh gigs that aren’t one of those two.
Oh, I didn’t know that. But now that it’s clear, I’ll say it again—if you don’t want to sell to friends and family, many organizations let you avoid that. Avoid MLMs and recruitment-focused companies if that’s not what you want.
If your friends and family can benefit from the products you provide, why wouldn’t you sell to them?
