Money can be appealing, but my motivation for getting into this field was not just to “make money.” It’s about protecting and helping families.
As another commenter mentioned, some people may make a lot while taking advantage of others, but I assure you that’s rare among successful agents. The truly successful ones I know genuinely care about their clients and always prioritize their best interests.

I can’t bring myself to create a new account. This was before I got into insurance, and I had a post reach #1 on the site, so it feels impossible to start fresh.

You only fail if you quit, and activity beats everything else! Don’t settle for less than 90% commission on annual premiums. Avoid a tiered lead system, and ensure your team trains daily and is always available for support. Good luck!

Many companies resell the same leads repeatedly to different agents. They do this by labeling the leads as A leads, B leads, C leads, or even Platinum, Gold, Silver, and so on. For example, they might sell a lead to Agent 1 as a Platinum lead for $70, and then sell the same lead again as a Gold lead for $60 to another agent a week later. This cycle continues, allowing the companies to profit at the expense of their agents. As a result, all the agents end up competing for the same clients. Each lead level has a different name, which can mislead new agents into thinking they’re buying fresh leads. Life insurance is challenging enough without having to deal with this issue.

yes thank you. i realized after i tapped reply what you met but didn’t want to delete bc it cod help somebody in the future. that sucks and thas what’s wrong with the lead gen industry. idk if there are any true exclusive leads anymore beside maybe like a live transfer/inbound… in the past need a lead provide the best experience for me.

Leads the Way is privately owned by SL, and they provide exclusive leads. Happy Agent Leads is reliable for at least a month or two before they resell the leads. TTC Leads is also a good source for trustworthy leads. Live transfers are a solid option as well.
Forget about everyone else; they’re just people. My dad sold life insurance and became wealthy. You might end up like him, but don’t make the same mistakes as his partner, who ended up in jail.
