It depends on your age, health, term length, and the amount you want. Some options include Banner Life, Protective, American General/Corebridge, Pacific Life, Penn Mutual, Thrivent, GTL, and others.

It’s hard to say without knowing your age and health, but I recently quoted a 39-year-old male in perfect health who asked a similar question, so I’ll share his quote:

  • 10-year term
  • Perfect health
  • 39-year-old male
  • $1,000,000

Cheapest:

  • $24/month - Transamerica

Cheapest from a top-rated company (what I recommended):

  • $29.18/month - Guardian Life Insurance

You’ll hear two answers to this question. One from people who sell life insurance, who say price doesn’t matter, and another from regular people. I’m just a regular person. I have two policies. I can’t remember who my first one is with, but my second is with John Hancock. They offer a rewards program for healthy living. You can get a free Apple Watch, free Amazon Prime, and chances to win gift cards. I have a 20 or 30-year, $500,000 policy, and I only pay $21 a month.
